Seriously, my pride is all the graduates whom I have known and have gone on to become such successful citizens. My joy is my incredible wife and my three incomparable children, Christian, Joseph & Maria. V
One more...I could have put this under Wax Nostalgic....For the record, Jaydis doesn't bite with the same frequency he used to. He will be 3 on July 25th.

Life through the eyes of a two year old. Current mood: thankful Category: Life
Through the eyes of a two year old.
I recently had a conversation with Jaydis, whom turns two on July 25th. I thought I would share with you how the world is through the eyes of a two year old, as told by Jaydis and narrated by his father.
I'm only two years old. I have no patience, and may not have any patience until I have children of my own, like you dad. I know mom says you have no patience, but you have come a long way the last two years. Mom says I get it from you. You may notice that becoming a common theme here.
I am sorry that I bite. I am sorry that I like to bite you, a lot. I had to protect myself at daycare from the bigger (I mean older) kids and biting seems to work. Nobody messes with me anymore. It's cool having a nickname, even if it is "the Biter." When I bite you, dad, I am only trying to rile you up, because I like to play rough. I like to box with you, wrestle, and show off my muscles to you.
I am sorry that I gave you more gray hair. Mom says your hair was gray way before I camemaybe mom gave you all that gray hair.
You know when you come in and check on me at night, like 12 times, and I am always sleeping away.I am really awake and just don't want you to worry about me. I like that you check on me, though. And when I do fall asleep, and wake back up at 3 a.m., I like how you or mom will lay with me until I go back to sleep.
I really do like Spiderman. I mean, he is like, the coolest thing ever. Why else would my first words have been: Mom, Dad, and Spiderman? (HE PRONOUNCED IT 'Smi-man').
You can thank Grandma Sue.she got me my first Spiderman toy, and I have been hooked ever since.
I really, really, really love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the Disney Channel. "Oh tootles"I know you think it is kind of funny when I cry during the one episode when they are baby sitting the puppy, and they sing "twinkle twinkle little star", and they get mad at Pluto for waking him up, and Pluto is sad because they are mad at him and the puppy is getting all the attention..but it is SOOOOOO SAD! And I know you think is cute/funny when I now cry EVERY time I hear 'twinkle twinkle little star', but that song always brings me back to Mickey's Clubhouse and Pluto being sad..and it tugs at my heart. I have feelings too, you know.
Did I mention Spiderman (Smi-man).I guess I did. I am only two, you know.
I think it is pretty neat that mom has been home for the last few weeks. I didn't like it when you left me with Grandma Sue for a couple days, but it was really cool when you did come; you brought that baby home with you. I am kinda jealous of her, but she can stay. Don't you see how I get worried about her when she cries? And how mad I get when we are going somewhere, and I think you are going to leave her?
I know I can frustrate you and mom at times. But I know you love me. I know you know that I love you too; I just can't really say it yet. My hugs will have to do for know. I don't know what I would do without both of you. You feed me, bathe me, and change my butt. I have it made with you two around. And I appreciate all that you do.
I love you guys.
Your son, Jaydis.

My pride and Joy.... 1st and foremost are definately my wife Jamie and our daughter Liv. Jamie is a dedicated spouse who is going through her third deployment with me in 4 years.
