Pete -

I totally remember you guys and your band playing on the stage! Lisa Smoldon and I were your groupies!  I was going to call you last month after my 16 year old son and I went to the Def Leppard concert. I know you never considered them REAL rock music, but it made me think about all the crazy music we used to listen to....okay, that Pete STILL listens to!

We had groupies?!  Crap!  Why did you wait 23 years to let me know?!  Dammit!

Milissa, for your son:  The Corvette is a 2001 convertible.  Silver w/black leather and black top.  I haven't done much to it except for K&N induction (chrome dual induction with exposed filters), a bit of exhaust and a tid-bit of cosmetic dress-up here and there.  Factory 350 horsepower, I'm probably running 375 to 400.  Not that it matters, as previoulsy mentioned, at 102 a chick in a Camry passed me.

I totally overlooked someone on here and that is Renee Jungblom. That is probably because I considered her more a friend then a teacher and I'm sorry I forgot about you Renee I love you! :D

I have so many, although I did not know it back then. I was not the greatest student in the world but they did not give up on me. Mr.V, he was tough on me but he had to be. He was the one that showed me that I could do better, and make a difference in not only my life but the lifes of those around me. You might not have thought that I was paying attention, but I was. Mr. Reed, He has the greatest Patience of just about anyone I have ever met. Always happy to help you and explain things to you until you caught on. Mr. Whysong, I loved his Art classes and he taught me how to drive. I looked forward to his classes everyday. JB and Adolf. I learned many skills from your shop classes that I still use to this day. Mr. Cain, Great guy with a great sense of humor. Always had a comback for our smartass remarks. Mr Barnes, another Great influence in my life. Always had great advice and patience. I don't know that I would have made though High School if I did not have teachers like you guys to show me the way. Thank you.

An unpopular choice, but I always got along great with Mr. Bailey. He was a short timer, I don't think he stayed around too long. I always thought that the students didn't give him a fair shake. He replaced Mr. Neale as the band teacher and Mr. Neale was an icon at Selkirk. Mozart himself couldn't have replaced Mr. Neale in the eyes of the Selkirk student body.

Ironically, I was probably the only student in the history of Selkirk high school that didn't really get along with Mr. Neale. I thought he was a great teacher, and outside of school a pretty cool dude, I just never saw eye-to-eye with him.
